Chapter 32 - Additional Information

Text Messages from Alex (December 2023 and December 2025) The following messages are reproduced verbatim for context. They contain abusive language and may be distressing to read.

Message 1 — December 2023 Hi You paid Carolyn the $35 you owed for your credit card transfer when you were overseas. You stated “whatever it cost.” After asking again if you could pay her back, you then paid the amount through the business terminal, which we pay 1.5% credit fee plus 10% GST as income. You are so tight, and despite having had businesses yourself, you are constantly trying to tell everyone else what they should do and upsetting others. It shows again that you only care about yourself and no one else. This is what the other night was about — because you think it’s never your fault and you don’t even try to think that maybe it was wrong. Yes, I was out of line and intoxicated. However, everyone left that night and no one thought to help or get up and assist (consider yourself family). I should never ask for help. When you eat and drink for free while we are away without permission — who says you are entitled to do so? And when I say it needs to stop, you still carry on (coffee). It again clearly shows that if there is no benefit in it for you, you are nowhere to be seen. Ashes for Kevin?!?! What a joke. It’s like me asking a stranger to take my mum’s ashes to sprinkle. If you can fly business on Emirates with a partner who’s got money, buy a ticket, fly to NZ, see the grave, and pay respect. Ownership and responsibility towards family. Don’t fob it off to someone else — it’s your responsibility only. I had this post sitting in my draft box for a very long time. But after today’s call regarding a review (which was a gentleman intoxicated on a private function — in fact, the person holding the function was apologising to me for the behaviour), I don’t need to justify anything to you. What you did to your daughter under our current situation shows again how fucking selfish you are. You are a bludger, lazy, and show no effort that you care at all. You never got your own arse into gear. Stay away from me. I would rather go broke than get help or advice from you — it’s useless anyway. Just review your own assets; that tells the story. Not better than mine. Message 2 — 15 December 2025 Today you insulted me again by coming to my home. You could come here to see your family, but you could not pick up your flesh and blood. You know the deal, but you abused it and did not think about your daughter. You are still a selfish person — no feelings whatsoever for others. Today you pushed the boundary, and I will assure you that from today, and your actions, this Christmas will be your worst nightmare, as I have nothing for you in the future. Being old is not an excuse. Being an arsehole, a bludger, and selfish is a different kind of human being. Hurting your daughter and knowing the facts tells me what a low-life incest breeder you are.
